Hang in i915 GPU HANG: ecode 9:1:85dffffb kernel 5.11.12

I am having troubles in a Intel NUC NUC7PJYH when using the graphic mode. The problem is reproducible in Ubuntu, Debian and Kubuntu (tried 19.10, 20.04) Currently I am using a 5.11.12 kernel from https://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/ And updated graphic drivers from https://launchpad.net/~oibaf/+archive/ubuntu/graphics-drivers

The problem appears consistently just after boot, so far I haven't been able to do anything to mitigate the problem. Attached are the required log files.

i'm in the same situation, same error code, but on a laptop while using many different applications like described here #2024 (comment 751542)

same issue here with one DELL XPS15 :(

there is a working solution for #4858, mentioned in the first post. could be a different situation, but worth a try.
