xserver 1.20.13 crashes when toggling fullscreen mode

Hey, i'm on void linux, xserver 1.20.13 and i3wm and when i open vscode or signal-desktop and enter and then leave fullscreen mode or change my i3 workspace xserver crashes. Sometimes i can toggle fullscreen mode without any issue, but when i open and close a dropdown menu from the menubar and then leave fullscreen mode, the xserver crashes again. I tried downgrading xorg, but it made no difference. Please see the attached log file:
