How can I add a new language?
I'm trying to add a new language, but tests fail every time and I'm stuck discovering what the reason may be. Here's what I'm doing:
- Add a new layout file inside
symbols
folder - I make sure the file follows the existing conventions, and for the sake of trial, the file's content is identical to another already existing layout; - Add a new entry inside
rules/base.xml
which refers to the new layout - again, I make sure to follow the existing conventions.
After the changes, I run pytest locally and get 100% pass. However, when I commit to my forked repository, the layout_tests
fail every time with the following message:
"xkbcli-compile-keymap --verbose --rules evdev --model pc105 --layout sh"
"failed to compile keymap"
Is there anything I'm missing in the above procedure?
