xdg-tools doesn't comply to standards itself. No error when there is no icon.
xdg-icon-resource uninstall doesn't give any feedback when the icon does not exist. I know silence is golden, but not when there is a error I would think and you would think that a tool that is designed to make people and distributions follow rules, would follow normal Unix rules itself.
