Differentiate comic book archives

Tools like Nautilus' search interface allow you to narrow your search by MIME type, but display only the comment field for each entry. This creates confusion when multiple types have the same comment:

Differentiating by container format allows the user to select the intended type.

Precedent: Formats that can be compressed in multiple different ways, e.g.

  • EPS image
  • EPS image (bzip-compressed)
  • EPS image (gzip-compressed)

An alternative would be to incorporate the container into the names:

  • comic book 7z archive
  • comic book rar archive
  • comic book tar archive
  • comic book zip archive
