Use pixel format database for DRM fallback format too

I think all the pixel format pain should be centralized. I wrote this patch for #278 (closed) but I'm not sure I actually need it there.

Is this ok to merge?

Mind that clicking the Thumb-up button does not signify a review: it sends no notifications and it is not recorded in the "Discussion" which means it is unknown when it was clicked. I also assume a Thumb-up can be canceled later, leaving no trace of it.
