vaapi-recorder fails on RGB to YUV conversion on ivb

Submitted by Link Mauve

Assigned to Wayland bug list

Link to original bug (#98373)

Description

When starting a video recording with Super-Shift-Space-Q, vaapi-recorder will log once a frame “[libva recorder] color space conversion failed”, and output a 0B capture.h264 file in my home directory.

This failure comes from libweston/vaapi-recorder.c:convert_rgb_to_yuv, and can be reproduced on both 1.12 and current master (2dae4d01), with libva and libva-intel-driver 1.7.2-1 from ArchLinux.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
