black window contagion
I have been experiencing issues with tcl/tk (in particular in tkcon, especially when it trys to put up a window that expands an error) which I am relatively certain are from some sort of 'wayland' issue and or incompatibility, i.e. they all went away when I went back to X11. Prime symptoms were very slow response to the raising the tkcon console window, completely black screen for the tkcon window with occasional fill in when moving the mouse over the window, some times this spreads to all the tkcon windows and even to emacs. Once this happens even the simple 'wish' command puts up a black window (normal window background is gray85). I am not sure this is related but wayland (as opposed to X11) seems to flash a lot of jittery windows when moving the mouse over the task bar.
Running Fedora 38, with KDE (which allows X11 or wayland at login). Emacs 28.3 tcl/tk 8.6.12
