platform_profile driver does not work as well, cannot revert back to intel_pstate
Recently my laptop has been using the platform_profile driver. It used to always use the intel_pstate driver. Since this change, the power draw on my laptop has gone up substantially without any change in usage (averaging 7-10W on power-saver, as opposed to previously 4-6W with pstate driver).
Useful outputs:
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/intel_pstate/status
> active
cat /sys/firmware/acpi/pm_profile
> 2
cat /sys/firmware/acpi/platform_profile_choices
> cat /sys/firmware/acpi/platform_profile_choices
cat /sys/firmware/acpi/platform_profile_choices
> 7
