dmabuf (virtio gpu, mdev) based spice display is divided by the host display scaling ratio on Gnome 3 with Wayland

    When running a VM with spice-gtk, iGVT-g, and Gnome 3 on Wayland, the scaling for the displayed area is too small in relation to the spice window. There has been an analogous issue on X11 with identical behaviour (see #99 (closed)), which has already been fixed.

        Are you sure a spice display is configured? how? does it work with disabled wayland? is your host system scaled? try to set GDK_SCALE=1

        Actually it seems like gtk display is used, not spice, and IIRC it has similar issues, i think i had a patch fixing this also in qemu, I'll check its status.
