Crackling/Popping on Volume Change
Summary
Changing the volume of some application results in crackling/popping sounds. Some applications like Spotify work fine. Other applications like Firefox combined with YouTube trigger the problem. The popping sounds only appear while the volume is changed. The rest of the time the audio works fine without crackling or popping sounds.

Steps to reproduce
The Log contains a short experiment: pulseverbose.log
First I play some audio with firefox and youtube. While playing the audio i change the volume. The crackling/popping sounds appear. Second i stop the firefox audio and start some spotify audio and change the volume. This time there aren't any crackling sounds. I have the feeling that the problem results from mismatched sample rates of the application and the device. Spotify with 44100 Hz works fine while other sample rates result on volume change in crackling/popping sounds. However changing the resampling algorithm doesn't fix the problem.
Changing the master volume of the hole audio device doesn't produce any crackling.
What is the current bug behavior?
The audio is disturbed by cracking/popping.
What is the expected correct behavior?
The audio is crackling/popping free.
