Summary
When i want to stream to my Yamaha Musiccast Device with AirPlay2 (Server AirTunes/366.0) my stream cannot start. I am using no firewall and the device is running fine. DLNA and Bluetooth are working as expected.
The weird thing is that my devices pop up as two Audio Cards and I do not know why. As you can see in pa-info.txt
environment
- Network:
- IPv4 IPv6 DualStack dhcp v4, slaac v6
Steps to reproduce
- install avahi-daemon, ms-dnss, pulseaudio > 13.0-dirty (ArchLinux)
- run pa-prefs
- Enable Checkbox for AirPlay Discovery.
- Select one of the devices showing up.
- Stream Audio:
- Try to stream Test Left or Test Right Audio from Gnome Audio Settings.
- Try to stream some music from a source of you choice.
What is the current bug behavior?
The stream does not start and the log says:
