Noise cancelling on ALC 3232
Kernel Bug: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=204419
Summary
My problem is, that I miss the noise cancelling on the internal microphone which is offically supported by the ALC3232 .It is only software side supported. The proprietary driver (Windows) supports it well. I can not find any datasheets more(I found one weeks ago and forgot to save it). I think the laptop has 3 mics in it. 2 are in an mic array(both next to the webcam) to deliver stereo audio. the 3rd is in the laptop and only records the internal sounds(like moving the laptop, typing,...) and filters these noises out of the original stream (the stereo array). ->Noise Cancelling
environment
Steps to reproduce
Buy an laptop with an Realtek ALC 3232. Try to record sounds on it and type something on the keyboard:)
What is the current bug behavior?
You can hear everything on the internal mic.
What is the expected correct behavior?
You should only hear the voice and not keyboard typing
