Fix Found - Dell WD19 Dock
My WD19 dock is now working, by simply adding a udev rule.
Previously, it seemed to be detected and I could select the output but no audio would actually be output.
My file at /etc/udev/rules.d/91-pulseaudio.rules
:
SUBSYSTEM!="sound", GOTO="pulseaudio_end"
ACTION!="change", GOTO="pulseaudio_end"
KERNEL!="card*", GOTO="pulseaudio_end"
SUBSYSTEMS=="usb", ATTRS{idVendor}=="0bda", ATTRS{idProduct}=="402e", ENV{PULSE_PROFILE_SET}="dell-dock-tb16-usb-audio.conf"
LABEL="pulseaudio_end"
This caused the profile at /src/modules/alsa/mixer/profile-sets/dell-dock-tb16-usb-audio.conf
to be loaded.
I think this could be added to src/modules/alsa/90-pulseaudio.rules
in the next release? Perhaps alongside a new .conf
file, although the tb16
config works fine.
