pasting of extra spaces and line breaks

Submitted by Greg Grossmeier

Description

This is a consistency issue.

When you copy/paste from a poppler-powered pdf reader, and the selection is from the middle of a line and wraps multiple lines, you get extraneous spaces at the beginning and line breaks where they occur in the pdf.

To make this consistent with other applications these spaces and line breaks should be removed (not copied).

The standard pdf viewer in Windows (Adobe) does not copy the leading spaces, but it does insert the line breaks. What is the correct action for the line breaks then?

using poppler 0.6 in evince 2.20.0
