En spaces appear as .notdef glyph in some Japanese PDF
After updating the CMap file Adobe-Japan1-UCS2
from version 9.002 to 10.002, en spaces U+2002 appear as .notdef glyphs in some Japanese PDF where fonts are not embedded. For an example PDF at this page, evince renders the image on the left-hand side where several .notdef glyph appear. If line 128 in Adobe-Japan1-UCS2
<00e7> <2002>
is replaced with
<00e7> <0020>
then evince renders the image on the right-hand side which is correct.
