Description
Hello,
Whichever theme is use, the graphic mode is changed from native 4K by plymouth producing twice a screen flickering. It seems the resolution is set a to 1024px width instead of the native 3840px. Logo are of course oversized and user experience is not smooth at all.
In the system log I have a line like: efifb: mode is 3840x2160x32, ... meaning the kernel has properly set the modesetting.
I tested with another monitor (same machine and display port) of a native 1680x1050 resolution and everything is smooth.
I therefore suspect a bug in plymouth.
Version is plymouth-0.8.9-7.2013.08.14.fc21.x86_64 on Fedora 21.
Thanks
