Boot hangs on password prompt when plymouth.prefer-fbcon specified
When I boot the system with quiet splash plymouth.prefer-fbcon
kernel parameters, the boot hangs with blank screen when the password would be asked to open the encrypted device. I had to do a hard reset, and remove the plymouth.prefer-fbcon
or splash
parameter to be able to get the password prompt and start the system. Tested with plymouth 23.358.4 and systemd 255.2 on Arch Linux.
