Description
I am using openSUSE 13.2 and my main DE is KDE4. The problem with my desktop PC is that when I select shutdown or restart - instead going straight to black the shutdown hangs for 5 - 6 seconds at the long prompt.
I believe plymouthd should switch over to tty7 before opening the frame buffer. At least if it get's terminated, and/or if it simply exits the kernel should NOT switch back to tty1.
Hence the console login prompt pause during shutdown.
