No Displayport sound after suspend
Version, Distribution, Desktop Environment:
Gnome, fedora core 34 and 35, X11.
Description of Problem:
After my monitor suspends there's no more sound (through the monitor, upon wakeup), until I reconnect the Displayport cable.
How Reproducible:
Every time
Steps to Reproduce:
- Play sound
- Turn off monitor, or wait until it sleeps / screen blanks
- No more sound
- Disconnect & immediately connect the Displayport cable
- Sound has returned
Actual Results:
Sound is gone.
Expected Results:
Sound is not gone ;-)

pipewire-media-session[1496016]: device 'alsa_card.pci-0000_00_03.0': can't restore profile: No such device
Not sure if it is a pipewire
issue or the problem lies deeper, but this is reported in the logs.
