Switching to HFP profile breaks volume

On 0.3.22 it's ok, but in master in the last days I've had a problem with volume. When I connect my headphones and the profile is A2DP, everything is fine, but when I switch the profile to HFP, the volume goes to 100% on my headphones, but pactl says the volume is 0% and I can't change volume with pactl set-sink-volume.

The only warning I see in the logs is when I connect the headphones:

device 0x5561c4503b60: node 1 not ready for volume yet

This is the pipewire and pipewire-pulse level 3 logs when I switch to HFP and try to change the volume: pulse.log

I'm on Ubuntu 20.04.
