Fl Studio and WineAsio
Version, Distribution, Desktop Environment: Pipewire 0.3.21 on Arch Linux running kernel 5.10.12-arch1-1 and KDE Plasma 5.20.5-2
Description of Problem: Upon selecting WineASIO in FL Studio Audio Settings, an fl64 node thing is created in qjackctl. The application, however, becomes unresponsive and has to be killed.
How Reproducible: Unless you have FL Studio ~20.6.2, not really.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Install FL Studio
- Install WineASIO
- Start qjackctl with pw-jack
- Start FL Studio
- Notice startup beep while FLStudioASIO is selected.
- Change ASIO driver in audio settings to WineASIO
Actual Results: FL Studio freezes/crashes then freezes, audio system-wide stops working until FL Studio is killed/closed.
Expected Results: Working WineASIO driver.
Since FL Studio is a paid program, I am willing to do tests or anything that might help.
