Is there a way to define a port in `target.object`?
I'm writing a midi client that uses pipewire directly (want to drop last remaining sandbox escape in my app)
Implementing this for pipewire client to pipewire client communication was straightforward, I just set target.object
to the corresponding client node on the other side (either by serial or name).
But now I want to be able to link to Midi Bridge devices and clients as well, but all of them live under the same bridge node, and trying to link to it via target.object
does nothing.
Is there any way to specify a port in target.object
?
Or am I expected to create links manually myself, kinda like helvum does? If so, what is the purpose of target.object
?
(I'm aware that this is perhaps partially wireplumber related issue, but I'm not entirely sure, so feel free to move as needed)
