pipewire-media-session: spa.bluez5: GetManagedObjects() failed: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NameHasNoOwner
- Arch Linux | Kernel 6.6.2
- Gnome-shell | Mutter 45.1
- Wayland (
gnome-shell --no-x11
) - pipewire-media-session 0.4.2
- pipewire 0.3.85
- bluez 5.70
This system has no Bluetooth hardware.
Just installed pipewire, and have configured nothing. Using any/all defaults.
Seeing two of these system journal errors on each boot:
Nov 25 11:38:42 pipewire-media-session[1195]: spa.bluez5: GetManagedObjects() failed: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NameHasNoOwner
Nov 25 11:38:49 pipewire-media-session[1865]: spa.bluez5: GetManagedObjects() failed: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NameHasNoOwner
I likely just need to understand how to disable pipewire's Bluetooth component detection, but have not been able to find such documentation.
Removing bluez is not an option due to the dependency chain in g-c-c:
$ pactree -r bluez
bluez

└─gnome-control-center
