Audio Controller issues (My laptop has 4x2 (4 speaker 2 watt each) configuration)
My issue currently is that my audio when heightening or lowering audio only really changes at the lowest DBs meaning that effectively, my audio can only be turned on or off. I have a theory for why that is, my top speaker are the only speaker being changed as they are supposed to (meaning a gradual change), and my lower speakers arent. My speakers on the bottom of my laptop are significantly louder, so I think it is using the incrementation settings for the top speakers on both speakers.
libpipewire 0.3.71 soundcard: HDA-Intel - HD-Audio Generic
I played around in ALSAMIXER and it seems that manipulating the PCM directly on the soundcard gives me the correct volume control incrementation, is there a way to reroute pavu control to manipulate those values instead of whatever it is manipulating.
My apologies if I am not giving the correct info, I am rather new to linux and I am not sure what you guys would need to help me solve the problem
It is also worth noting that someone else a day ago posted the same issue on a similar laptop ( MIne being the slim pro 7, and his being a yoga) so the issue is most likely the same. #3269
