Battery level does not work with Sennheiser HD 350BT

  • PipeWire version (pipewire --version): 0.3.64
  • Distribution and distribution version (PRETTY_NAME from /etc/os-release): Gentoo Linux
  • Desktop Environment: sway
  • Kernel version (uname -r): 6.0.12-zen1

Description of Problem:

upower -e shows this when the headset is connected:

/org/freedesktop/UPower/devices/line_power_AC
/org/freedesktop/UPower/devices/battery_BAT0
/org/freedesktop/UPower/devices/DisplayDevice

The same as when not connected, no headset battery. Experimental = true is enabled in /etc/bluetooth/main.conf.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Connect headset via Bluetooth.
  2. Enter upower -e in terminal.

Actual Results:

No headset battery.

Expected Results:

Headset battery listed.
