Update RTkit lines of perfomance section from wiki for Debian/Ubuntu based distros
Hi! I don't know if this is the right place to suggest it, so please let me know if not.
The latest wiki update has these steps:
"RTKit can be configured by passing extra arguments to the /usr/libexec/rtkit-daemon
process. You can try /usr/libexec/rtkit-daemon --help
to see the options.
Depending on the distribution, you would do something like this:
- Make
/usr/lib/systemd/system/rtkit-daemon.service.d/limits.conf
with: - Make
/etc/sysconfig/rtkit
[...]"
These directories are accurate when it's about Red Hat based system, probably Arch too. But Debian/Ubuntu systems should be pointed to the following directories:
-
/lib/systemd/system/rtkit-daemon.service
and adding to this file these lines:
"EnvironmentFile=/etc/dbus-1/system.d/rtkit"
Now, you need to add $RTKIT_ARGS at the final of the line "ExecStart=/usr/libexec/rtkit-daemon"
Finally, you can put the "rtkit" file on /etc/dbus-1/system.d/
directory and restart the system.
I wonder, could this be added to the wiki page?
