Screen-sharing output is distorted
Hey everyone, I have a problem with screen-sharing under pipewire. If I try to share entire screen or just a single window, the output is distorted image of the actual screen. There is some resemblance between the distortion and the screen being shared, so it's not completely random. And also the cursor is visible.
I have tried:
- Firefox 101.0.1-6
- OBS Studio 27.2.4-1
Screen-sharing works as expected on a Xorg session, here are the system details:
- Fedora 36 Workstation
- Gnome DE (gnome-shell 42.2-1)
- pipewire-0.3.52-4
- xdg-desktop-portal-1.12.4-1
- CPU: AMD A6 7310
- Graphics: Integrated R4 graphics
Here is the output of journalctl while I try to screen-share in firefox.
Specially
fedora firefox[3158]: gdk_wayland_window_configure: assertion 'height > 0' failed
fedora gnome-shell[1681]: ATK Bridge is disabled but a11y has already been enabled.
fedora xdg-desktop-por[2178]: Unhandled parent window type
fedora xdg-desktop-por[2178]: Failed to associate portal window with parent window
fedora wireplumber[1642]: <WpPortalPermissionStorePlugin:0x5570828c71c0> Failed to call Lookup: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.portal.Error.NotFound: No entry for camera
I am new to Linux in general, so it might be that I've raised this issue at a wrong place, if that's so please redirect me. Thank you.
