Description of Problem:
Gentoo recently pushed update that replaces PulseAudio with PipeWire (PulseAudio emulation) and Wireplumeber. Microphone not detected by PipeWire. Had same problem with PulseAudio, but added following configuration, then Microphone was detected: load-module module-alsa-source device=hw:0,0 .ifexists module-udev-detect.so
Was trying to port this configuration from PulseAudio to PipeWire, but PipeWire Wiki says module-alsa-source is not directly loadable by PipeWire. There is supposed to be a WorkAround, but cannot find it in the Wiki. Speakers work by the way.
Microphone was working under PulseAudio.
