Suttering audio, thousands of "resync" log messages
My journalctl --user log has nearly 60,000 pipewire log message in the format of:
pipewire[3083]: spa.alsa: front:1: follower delay:938 target:1024 thr:1024, resync
These seem to appear around the audio starts to stutter in my preview deck in Mixxx, which uses the builtin sound on my ThinkPad. At the time Mixxx is also sending audio to my Scarlet 2i2 over USB.
Mixxx is configured to talk to "JACK" (since with the "ALSA" driver, Mixxx isn't shown my audio devices).
This exact same machine, but with actual ALSA ("pasuspender mixxx") never stuttered.
I've added a limits.d/99-pipewire.conf which has:
@pipewire - rtprio 95
@pipewire - priority -19
@pipewire - memlock 4194304
and I have a ~/.config/pipewire/pipewire.conf which adds a null sink called "Desktop Audio" that I manually attach via QJackctl the monitor to my actual sound device - except while I'm DJing (I wasn't able to figure out how to get Mixxx to exclusively lock my audio devices).
I know lots of people report these "resync" issues, and Google seems to say the go unanswered, but I thought I'd throw mine into the mix too.
These issues were from running pipewire 0.3.49 on fc35.
