Clipping/distorted/blown-out audio from specific video when OS volume is turned up high

Description of Problem:
Experiencing extreme distortion of loud sounds in the form of heavy clipping or "blown-out audio".
How Reproducible:
It is reproduceable for me.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Turn system volume to max (overamplification disabled)
- Play the video linked below.
- Skip to 00:01:29 in the video (the intro scene with Cooper's dream of him flying the ship).
- Observe that the loud portions of this scene are heavily blown out.
Actual Results:
Blown out/clipped audio at loud spikes/areas with lots of bass.
Expected Results:
Clean audio
