problem with pipewire after uprgading to linux5.14
If you are filing this issue with a regular release please try master as it might already be fixed.
Version, Distribution, Desktop Environment: pipewire 0.3.38 0.3.39, ArchLinux, no DE (I use bspwm)
Description of Problem: every now and then the sound jerks
How Reproducible: I have any other PCs with linux to test, but on my machine this issue occours even after a reboot and with custom kernel (based on the same kernel version, minor releases apart)
Actual Results: sometimes sound stop working or jerks, on journalctl I found: pipewire[1228]: spa.alsa: alsa-pcm surround40:1: snd_pcm_avail after recover: Broken pipe
Expected Results: normal sound reproduction
Additional Info Eg. pw-dump -N > file
(As Attachment Please): I have a USB soundcard with 4 output channels and 2 input channels, in addition to the integrated souncard (2ch-in, 2ch-out, and hdmi). With linux 5.13 I had no problem, this issue occours only on linux 5.14. It could be a problem with alsa and linux itself and not a pipewire fault.
