Behringer Neutron crashes after some time when receiving MIDI from Korg SQ-1 via JACK Midi Bridge
Version, Distribution, Desktop Environment: 0.3.35, Debian Sid, KDE Plasma and Gnome
Description of Problem:
When I connect the SQ-1 to the Neutron via the Jack Midi Bridge the Neutron crashes after some time (usually < 15 Minutes) and gets into an unusable state.
How Reproducible:
Always.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Use USB connections to SQ-1 and Neutron.
- Connect SQ-1's Midi out to Neutron's Midi in.
- Wait
Actual Results:
After usually not more than 15 Minutes some of the Neutron's LEDs start blinking that are not supposed to blink. It's effectively dead then until I powercycle the Neutron.
Expected Results:
The Neutron should just work as intended.
Well, I know that this is a very special issue hardware-wise and will be hard to trace down without the hardware. But the main point is, though, that sending Midi over the Midi Bridge does send something over to the Neutron that shouldn't be sent. (I've kept the SQ-1 connected to the Neutron via alsa-midi or a2jmidid for days in the past without any issues.)
I've not found anything suspicious, yet, in the output of aseqdump connected to the SQ-1 as well.
