No volume control for receiver
Bluetooth Radio, Bluetooth Headset, Desktop Environment, Distribution, Version (Bluez, Kernel, and PipeWire):
Radios: Intel 7265 (as PipeWire receiver), Intel 9260 (as Windows sender), OnePlus 3T (as Android sender)
DE: No DE, terminal. PipeWire started as systemd user service
Distribution: Arch Linux
Version: bluez 5.60, linux 5.13, pipewire 0.3.31. Windows 10 20H2, Android 11.
Description of Problem:
When I start playback to pipewire-receiving PC, volume is always at 100%. Volume sliders do nothing, it stays at max level.
Windows: volume is 100% on the scale of 1-100 and muted on 0%
Android: volume is 100% on the scale of 5-15, and adjusts in large steps on scale of 0-4
iOS: same as Windows
How Reproducible:
Almost always, I could remember one time that I managed it to work, but it's more like an accident
Steps to Reproduce:
- Pair bluetooth device
- Start playing music
- Try to adjust volume
Actual Results:
Volume is always 100%
Expected Results:
Volume adjusts as displayed on sender
