Visual residues and artifacts when remoting Qt5 based applications

Description

Tested on Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS Server, weston installed from apt source.

When remoing Qt5 based apps, severe artifacts can be observed.

Reproduce

Grab a Qt5 app, for example, qbittorrent

Remote with waypipe with default settings.

If you try to switch tabs, something like this happens Screenshot_2020-11-12_183439

It is not limited to tabs, there are always some visual residues following you Screenshot_2020-11-12_183652

Notes

Both server and client are headless, no gpu is installed.

Setting -c none won't affect the result.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
