Getting Invalid transition with Quectel EM160R_GL
I recently install Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS on a Lenovo ThinkEdge SE30 that came with a Quectel EM160R_GL modem. There is a valid SIM card in the modem, but even though I used the Settings GUI application to configure the APN and enable the mobile network, it never enables.
The error states "invalid transition":
ThinkEdge-SE30 ModemManager[620]: <warn> [modem0] couldn't enable interface: 'Invalid transition'
ThinkEdge-SE30 ModemManager[620]: <info> [modem0] state changed (enabling -> disabled)
ThinkEdge-SE30 NetworkManager[523]: <warn> [1674479886.3413] modem-broadband[wwan0mbim0]: failed to enable modem: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.ModemManager1.Error.Core.Retry: Invalid transition
ThinkEdge-SE30 NetworkManager[523]: <info> [1674479887.7190] manager: startup complete
ThinkEdge-SE30 systemd[1]: Finished Network Manager Wait Online.
ThinkEdge-SE30 systemd[1]: Reached target Network is Online.
Attached is terminal output for some commands that give more information. mmcli.txt
