Describe the issue
When running American Truck Simulator, if in-game vsync is disabled, the game freezes and the system locks up, requiring a hard restart. This occurs during the intro video animations, sometimes freezing when the first menu appears. If vsync is enabled or if I set vblank_mode=3 %command%
in launch options in steam and in-game vsync is disabled, then it works fine.
I also tried on the latest of main on mesa, and this still occurred.
Regression
This is my first time using Mesa, so am unable to provide whether this is a regression or not. On my nvidia card, I was able to play this game without any issues with vsync disabled.
Log files as attachment
- Output of
dmesg
- dmesg.log
Any extra information would be greatly appreciated
Let me know if there's any other information I could provide or steps I could do to get more logs/information after a reboot.
