I'm trying to play Return to Monkey Island and when I start the game, either with Proton using Vulkan or running the Linux native version which uses Vulkan, the screen is completely black and I can hear the sound in the background.
I see several reports of this issue in the Steam's game discussion board and the pattern seems to be the UHD Graphics card. The game works fine using Proton with DirectX, so there is something wrong between Vulkan and the graphics card driver.
I don't know how to get additional logs or other useful debugging information, I don't see any error in the syslog, the game starts ok but the image is never rendered. If you need additional information I'd be glad to help.
