Writing gl_PointSize (sometimes) yields huge point sizes since Mesa 20.x
As can be seen in this github issue, we yield strange pixel sizes since the update to Mesa 20.x. The issue is best illustrated by this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3vnVlUaqfc
Although, the gl_PointSize
set in our vertex program is fixed (I verified with a fixed value), the actual pixel size seems to vary nonlinearly with the height of the render window. Using nvidia OpenGL we don't face these problems.
