Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain: texture issues and vertex stretches

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain shows texture issues and vertex stretches for equipment and accessories.
The issue can be reproduced with all releases of Mesa 20.3 (tested .0 and .3) on radv (RX6800). I was able to reproduce the issues on a wide range of ingame options. There's no option which fixes these two issues.
ProtonDB entries show several reports with Navi cards + the oldest Mesa release being 20.3.0 with these issues.
The issue can not be reproduced on an Nvidia GPUs on several driver versions.

Reproduction
The issues are visible in all parts of the game. The screenshots have been taken 2 minutes into the intro.
