32-bit mesa failing to build inside a chroot due to f88347cd
This'll be a quick one for you clever chaps to replicate.
Just happened to stumble upon it when launching steam today and having it fail
Is it unusual to build a 32-bit version of mesa in a chroot (debootstrap) on a x86-64 system?
Perhaps a mistake on my side?
System information
- OS: Debian GNU/Linux bullseye/sid
- GPU: R9 285
- Kernel version: Linux debian 5.9.12-amd64-custom #1 (closed) SMP Wed Dec 2 19:24:58 GMT 2020 x86_64 GNU/Linux
- Mesa version: master
Describe the issue
When building mesa master in a 32-bit chroot the driver fails to compile. The error message (and attached log) has f88347cd as the culprit.
Regression
reverting f88347cd gets it working again. Or I can use 20.2/20.3/etc.
