World of Warcaft v9 Patch - Causing GPU hangs.

Describe the issue
I can launch WoW just fine, I can enter the world as well, but within a few minutes, my GPU hangs and very shortly after my whole Linux system freezes and need to power down my PC. Before the WoW pre-patch I had no issues.
I tried the DX11, DX11 Legacy and the DX12 renderer but they all make my system hang. I completely reinstalled the game as well without success. I also tried kernel 5.8 and dxvk 1.7.2.
I also tried the LLVM shader compiler as suggested here but that also caused my GPU to hang.
Regression
Before the latest patch, it worked without any problems.
