vkQuake RayTracedGL1 system hang
Description
vkQuake mod that uses RayTracedGL1 as its RT basis, hang when loading with RADV, works fine with AMDVLK
Log files (for system lockups / game freezes / crashes)
- Journal: amd-journal-latest.log
- Hang reports: RADV_DEBUG=hang radv_dumps_37591_2023.11.25_11.35.45.zip
Steps to reproduce
Setup vkQuake mod found here: https://github.com/sultim-t/vkquake-rt it should crash before being able to load a game.

Does the issue reproduce with the LLVM backend (RADV_DEBUG=llvm
) or on the AMDGPU-PRO drivers?
Tried AMDVLK Q4-1.1 and it doesn't crash.
Does your environment set any of the variables ACO_DEBUG
, RADV_DEBUG
, and RADV_PERFTEST
?
Tried syncshaders, crashes all the same.
