Add video-mode selection and fix gitlab-ci

This merge request was only for the commit that adds the video-mode selection on the command line. But then I got an issue with gitlab CI, due to a deprecated docker repo https://hub.docker.com/r/base/archlinux/tags thus a second commit.

In the branch history the first commit does not pass the CI, until the second fixes the docker's repo. Is it fine merging the branch as is, or you prefer I swap the commits?
