modetest: permit -r to work with -v and -P

Neil Armstrong requested to merge narmstrong/drm:modetest-vsync-test-default into main

Let's permit testing vsync and planes with the default mode, this returns back the pipe content and count when calling set_mode() so the vsync test + planes settings can also be used.
