WIP: Advanced thumb detection

Matt Mayfield requested to merge mdmayfield/libinput:wip/advanced-thumb-detection-3 into master

This code could use some collaborative cleanup and review and I would very much appreciate all comments or changes.

It seems to provide subjectively good results, especially for people who are used to Apple's touchpads, and on my setup at least it seems to increase accuracy of gesture recognition.
