syna 3602 in Vaio FE14 is not working after suspension or reboot and isn't being recongnized the actual touchpad area
Hello there, I have a Vaio FE14 notebook that comes with SYNA 3602 touchpad 95x50mm, it's different of some others - even with the same device name - that were reported here from others computers manufactures. This device is known for having some issues with linux kernel, independtly of distros, and I already report a file to bugzilla (https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=215585) about this situation. However, this device is getting better after every update of kernel and of libinput. Thanks for your hard works, guys! I'm grateful!
Anyway, I'm facing this problem: the touchpad don't work after a suspension or a reboot, even it's being recognized by the system, but only after I restart the module with sudo modprobe -r i2c_hid_acpi && sudo modprobe i2c_hid_acpi
. I check with this: sudo libinput list-devices | grep -i syna
.
event11 - SYNA3602:00 0911:5288 Touchpad: kernel bug: clickpad with right button, assuming it is not a clickpad
Device: SYNA3602:00 0911:5288 Mouse
Device: SYNA3602:00 0911:5288 Touchpad
Futhermore, the boarders of the touchpad area is not recognizes by the first tap or drag, but it works after I drag from some area that is recognized by the system to the borders of up, left and right. A good news, the borders are recognized by sudo libinput debug-events
and sudo libinput record
of event 11. However, some time ago, I tried to make the correct area for the device by changing the evdev localy and it just changed the precision, what right now with kernel 5.16 is pretty good. I don't see any reasons to try this again.
If I made any mistake let me now, I'll try to resolve or learn from it.
Thanks in advance.
