Pen tablet quirk AttrTabletSmoothing=0 gets set to 1
Summary
Setting the libinput quirk AttrTabletSmoothing
to 0 on a pen tablet device results in the value of 1 getting applied.
Steps to reproduce
- Confirm that
AttrTabletSmoothing
does not show up inlibinput quirks list <device>
- Add
AttrTabletSmoothing=0
quirk to your tablet device (example config below) - Observe that
AttrTabletSmoothing
fromlibinput quirks list <device>
remains at 1
Required information
- libinput version: 1.19.3
- hardware information: Wacom GD-0608 as well as OpenTabletDriver's virtual tablet ("Linux Artist Mode")

If it helps any, this is mostly interesting for the OpenTabletDriver project, as they have a dedicated output mode simulating an absolute mouse to work around this issue. Their issue is tracked here, FWIW.
