Disable while typing with virtual keyboard
Hello! Is it possible to enable disable while typing for a virtual keyboard?
I use a program called kmonad to extend the functionality of my integrated laptop keyboard, similar to what is possible with the QMK firmware in custom mechanical keyboards. To achieve this, kmonad "performs an ioctl-grab on a specific device-file" and then sends output to a uinput device named "My Kmonad output" by default. While this works well on the keyboard side, it seems to bypass the keyboard-touchpad pair mentioned here in the documentation, resulting in the touchpad not being disabled while typing.
Is there some option I can tick to make this device also be affected by this feature, or would I have to write a custom quirk to make libinput see the Kmonad output as an internal device, similar to what Davide described in this issue?
Thank you so much for your help!
