Cursor jumps at the end of touchpad motion on Thinkpad X1 Extreme Gen 3
Summary
When using the touchpad on my Thinkpad X1 Extreme Gen 3 with a fresh Ubuntu 20.04 Desktop install, the cursor will occasionally 'jump' to a new location. This is almost always correlated with me clicking (not tap-to-clicking) the touchpad, such as the click registers at the 'jumped' location instead of the intended location.
Steps to reproduce
Have a Thinkpad X1 Extreme Gen 3, install Ubuntu 20.04 with the usual defaults. Using the touchpad for 5 minutes or less should reliably (albeit randomly) reproduce this issue.
